• Corning: This lovely town includes the Corning Museum of Glass and the Rockwell Museum of Art. There are any number of good restaurants here, but we would recommend The Cellar which has an exceptional wine list.
• Elmira: For book lovers, Elmira is home to the Mark Twain study and gravesite.  
• Ithaca: A great small city whose highlights include Cornell Botanic Garden, Buttermilk Falls State Park, and a number of fantastic restaurants. If you are vegetarian, no visit to Ithaca is complete without a trip to the iconic Moosewood Restaurant.
• Watkins Glen: A stunning park with cascades, waterfalls, and views.
